SageStream, LLC is committed to providing accurate information it reports to consumers and credit issuers.  If you believe the information reported about you is inaccurate or incorrect, you have the right to file a dispute and have the information investigated.

SageStream requires that you have a copy of your SageStream consumer report prior to filing a dispute.  If you do not have one, the first step in filing a dispute is to obtain a copy of your consumer report from SageStream which will contain the information we currently have about you.  Instructions on how to obtain a copy of your consumer report can be found on the Consumer Report page.  Once you have reviewed your report, indicate the information you are disputing on the report and return the report to us with an explanation why you believe the information is inaccurate, incomplete or does not belong to you.

When we receive your dispute, we will investigate by contacting the sources that furnished the information to us.   We will send you the results of the investigation.  If the information is verified by the source as accurate it will remain on your record.  To escalate these disputes, you must work directly with the source.

The dispute timeline is mandated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and in most cases the investigation must be completed within 30 days after your dispute is filed.  If you provide additional information to substantiate your dispute, the time required for completion may be extended up to 15 days.

Blocking Information as a Result of Identity Theft

If you believe specific information in your consumer report is incorrect as a result of identity theft, you can request that the fraudulent information be blocked from your report.    Blocking the information will not prevent SageStream from releasing your credit report or score to organizations that have a legal right to receive it, but it will exclude the specific information that you believe is related to identity theft from being included in the report.

In most cases, it is recommended that you first obtain a copy of your consumer report from SageStream to review the information we currently have about you.  Instructions on how to obtain a copy of your consumer report can be found on the Consumer Report page.

To request that specific information related to identity theft be blocked from your consumer report, you will need to return a copy of your report indicating the fraudulent information that you want to have blocked, and you will need to    provide us with a copy of your Identity Theft Report.  For information about Identity Theft Reports and how to create one with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), refer to the FTC website at www.consumer.ftc.gov.
